A deputy involved in a crash caused a significant roadblock on a busy Fort Myers road Tuesday morning.
Colonial Boulevard’s eastbound lanes and Southbound ramp to I-75 were closed for hours following a crash.
Officers responded to a crash on Colonial Boulevard at around 5:09 a.m.
The crash involved a Lee County Deputy and a white SUV. It is unknown at this time what caused the crash.
The deputy involved was transported to a local hospital.
