A general easterly flow is in control and should hinder the west coast sea breeze into any significant inland progression this afternoon. This will keep things pretty dry and quiet to begin our day. Coverage of diurnal showers and storms should increase along the east coast and move inland later this afternoon. Expect a hot day with temperatures ranging from the high ’80s to – low ’90s.
Activity is picking up in the tropics. However, there is no immediate threat to Florida at this time. Nevertheless, tropical moisture may be present in our viewing area next week.
