Did you know that there is a growing secession movement in Florida?
Apparently not only is there a growing number of Texans who want Texas to leave the Union, but also here in Florida, there is a growing number of especially Republicans who wish to make The State of Florida, a separate country from the United States.
Earlier this year, Both Governor DeSantis and Florida Attorney General, Ashley Moody while being asked about Florida possibly seceding from The U.S., did not dismiss the notion of Florida leaving the Union. In A February 23, 2021 press conference, Moody stated that, “If the rights of the people of Florida as recognized by the Constitution are not protected by the Federal Government, they have the right to separate themselves from their oppressors—in this case, Joseph Biden and his administration.”
