Marceno and six LCSO Employees travel, five in a private plane owned by one of those deputies and 2 in an LCSO SUV with their luggage, not for a training class but goes to the 2-hour retirement party for FHP Chief Derek D. Barrs.

Barrs retirement party was in Tallahassee on January 7, 2020 at 3 pm.
Documents show when the plane arrived, they rented two Hertz SUV’s ($162.81 per) and stayed at the Doubletree Hilton on 101 South Adams Street in Tallahassee. Each employee had his own room with a King Size bed @ 167.63 per.
Documents also show each LCSO employee filed a request for training for Career Development – Course FHP Retirement at the FHP Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Sheriff Marcenco, Chief Holloway, Colonel Rankine, Major Snyder, and pilot Commander Tomisich were on the plane tail number N340W departed 11am 1/7/2020. Captain Lalor and Captain Prisco drove up to Tallassee in a LCSO SUV starting 0500 1/17/2020.

No bill for the use of the plane or the fuel was found in the public records request, Why? The Sheriff cannot except gifts with logging them in ….. no record of the expense.
This trip to Tallahassee was one week prior to the date the FDLE issued a no findings against Marcenco.
Did Sheriff Marcenco and Chief Holloway the department’s attorney have words with anyone with FDLE at retirement party? Why send 7 people when two could do?
