The list below is the Yearly Gross Salary of District 6 Union employees of the Lehigh Acres Fire Department.
This not to embarrass the firefighters of the Lehigh Acres Fire Department but to tell the truth.
The dollar amount below does include base pay, education incentives, and longevity. It also includes FSLA pay for 56-hour employees.
The amount below DOES NOT include benefits medical, dental, life or any equipment such as bunker gear that department pays for with taxpayers’ money.
It does include the recent Oct 1, 2019, a 5% increase voted on by the commissioners. Now the commissioners will discuss the process and intention to open Article 7 – Wages of The Southwest Florida Professional Firefighters Local 1826 District 6 Collective Bargaining Agreement and give the firefighters an extra 3% raise.
