According to the FHP, three people died in a crash early Sunday morning at the intersection of State Road 82 and Ray Avenue.
The two-vehicle wreck occurred around 12:15 a.m., according to the FHP report. A 2009 Honda Accord was traveling westbound on State Road 82 approaching the intersection of Ray Avenue and turned into the path of an eastbound 2010 Mercury Milan.
Kendrick O. Franklyn Wynn, 25, of Fort Myers, and Keith Jerome Haymon Lucas, 26, of Lehigh Acres, were in the Honda and pronounced dead on the scene. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.
Richard T. Horvath, 32, of North Fort Myers, was in the Mercury. He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital and later pronounced dead.
