This deep moisture combined with increasing large scale lift will result in widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms developing over the region later tonight through monday night.

Some very heavy rainfall will be possible with rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches likely with up to 8 inches possible along the coast from sarasota north to cedar key.The heavy rainfall will create flooding of streets urban areas and low-lying flood prone areas.
