Two women were taken to the hospital Friday after a bee attack in Lehigh Acres.

A witness tells us two female landscapers were working at a home in Fitch Avenue.

One woman, who was driving a lawn tractor, was attacked by a swarm of aggressive bees. She woman scrambled to get off the tractor, but fell and injured her knee. The woman was unable to get up and had to lay on the ground while bees stung her.

A Lehigh Acres firefighter rushed to the woman and carried her away from the bees.

The second landscaper was having difficulty in breathing and was possible stung as well.
