Fifth Annual Art, Craft
and Music Festival

Sights and sounds of the art world will be flowing along Desoto Avenue as Barron Park in LaBelle Florida hosts The Arts of the Inland’s 5th Annual Art, Craft & Music Festival on January 30th. Festival hours are 10:00am until 3:00pm. The show will feature continuous performances of live music, dance and art presentations.  The show hosts many local artists, writers and crafters who will also have works for sale.

A Boy Scout Flag Ceremony as well as a welcome from Labelle Mayor Dave Lyons will open the festival at 10:00 am.

The live entertainment lineup includes music by Austin Church, the LaBelle High School Jazz Band, the Firehouse Singers, jRobert Houghtaling, Press On (The Shock Sisters) and Bob Speckin, street dancing by Temple Tribal Dancers and artist presentations by Xavier Cortada.

Throughout the day there will be activities for both, young and old alike, including face painting and sidewalk chalk drawing. Beading and other art techniques will be demonstrated at Student Booths.

The Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation will also have a booth dedicated to their Painting Project.

At 2:00pm a drawing will be held on stage to find the winner of a raffle for a stay at the Dover House in Delray Beach, Florida. (Drawing tickets will be available all day.)

Local vendors will be operating booths to provide festival food and drinks for all.

So mark your calendars for Saturday, January 30, from 10:00am to 3pm and plan on spending a fun and relaxing day at the park.
