Arts of the Inland Featured Artist of the Month: January 2016

Kel Bradshaw

Kel Bradshaw has been selected as featured artist for the month of January 2016 at the Arts of the Inland Gallery at Lehigh Regional Medical Center Café at 1500 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres, FL.

Inspiration for Kel’s art comes from traveling in the US southwest desert and the Florida Everglades. She paints in oil and acrylics and loves to do portraits. Her portraits come in sizes ranging from 12”x”12” to 6 foot canvases and depict symbolism in the life of her subjects with prices starting at $150. Kel’s paintings show anatomical correctness, strong contrast, arresting competition and pivotal focus. She says, “People, birds and horses are my favorite subjects.”

Careers including graphics, signage, and advertising, as well as, publishing three different cat magazines have filled Kel’s time along with showing and judging national and international cat shows. Her current hobbies include biking, Euro traveling and designing Only-1 semi-precious jewelry.

Kel has entered many varied art competitions and won Best of Show four times. In November 2015 her work took 2nd Place in the AOI Perceptions Art Show held at the AOI Barron Park House Gallery in LaBelle, FL. The AOI gallery at the Café at Lehigh Regional Medical center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
