A Lehigh Acres man Ronaldc V. Maruca, 53, was killed Sunday when his jet ski struck a dock on the Caloosahatchee River in Alva, a report from the Florida Wildlife Commission said.
Maruca was piloting a 2004 Sea-Doo on the river around 6 p.m. when he struck a dock at 17160 North River Road in Alva. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The FWC reported that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
