LCSO Investigating Body Found In Burned Car As A Homicide

A body found inside a charred car on Monday is now being investigated as a homicide, confirms the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities identified the victim as 31-year-old Aldo Camilo of Fort Myers.

Deputies received reports of a burning vehicle in the area of Venetia Street East and Naples Avenue South just before 11 p.m.

After the flames were extinguished, authorities discovered Camilo’s remains inside the car.

  1. He was my brother. I can’t believe somebody would just burn him alive! People are just so cruel and think that this is a game! They need to find the person or people who did this and let them rot in jail!
