Is Culver’s Restaurant Heading To Lehigh Acres

Culver’s Restaurant is purchasing the Preferred Community Bank building and land at 2511 Lee Blvd (in front of Wal-Mart next Wendy’s).

Culver’s is planning to build a “XL” prototype store with 123 seats and a drive thru. The start date has not been finalized do to zoning requirements with Lee County and regulatory requirements so Preferred Community Bank can move locations.

We have a opportunity to help the community and a growing company as Culver’s is. If all goes well for Culver’s, Preferred Community Bank will also have a new home in Lehigh Acres at will be very convenient location for our current and future banking patrons.


Steve Thomas Chairman Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce said; Glad to have Culver’s as a part of the community. Thomas went on to say, this is just the beginning for more national chains coming to the Lehigh Acres area.

Justin Lawler franchise owner of the Culver’s Restaurant that’s heading to Lehigh Acres said, I can’t comment on all the details at this time but we are currently working on this project.

The first Culver’s opened in Sauk City, Wisconsin, in 1984. The first successful franchised restaurant opened in Baraboo, WI.  The first restaurant outside of Wisconsin was opened in Buffalo, Minnesota.

Culver’s was co-founded by Craig and Lea Culver and Craig’s parents George and Ruth.

There are more than 500 restaurants in 22 states. Each restaurant employs 30–75 team members year-round, with approximately 10 additional summertime positions. Restaurants seat 98-118 guests but one being built in Lehigh Acres will have 123 seats.

Choices include: • ButterBurgers: Seared on the grill after each guest orders and served on a lightly buttered, toasted bun, this family specialty started it all! • Irresistible handcrafted desserts made with Fresh Frozen Custard made in small batches throughout the day at each restaurant, including our Flavor of the Day • Grilled or Crispy Chicken Sandwiches, tenders and more, all of Culver’s chicken is plump and juicy, premium antibiotic free, certified humanely raised • Wild caught fish, hand-battered and cooked-to-order for crispy, golden goodness served with our family recipe tartar sauce featuring olives, capers and sweet relish • Inspired by Wisconsin supper clubs and mom’s home cooking, Culver’s dinners, such as our Beef Pot Roast or Fresh Fried Chicken, are served with two side choices and a roll • For guests hungry for a little something different Culver’s has a variety of sandwich options including the grilled-up-fresh goodness of a Grilled Reuben Melt or Shaved Prime Rib Sandwich • Mindful Choice options so guests can enjoy a fresh, cooked-to-order meal of around 500 calories • Scoopie Kids’ Meals, for the youngest guests, include a ButterBurger, Chicken Tenders, Grilled Cheese or Corn Dog with applesauce or Crinkle Cut Fries and a scoop of Fresh Frozen Custard

  1. So happy to see Culver’s is coming to Lehigh! We have been fans for many years when we enjoyed them in Wisconsin. It’s delicious food cooked to order,their salads are scrumptious and the service is always first rate! Can’t wait!
