Youth2Youth, an evidence based program that helps kids become media advocates in prevention has started in Lehigh Acres, FL. Held at the Veterans Park Recreation Center the Youth2Youth Advocacy Group will meet an hour before Teen Night – 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. – at the Veterans Park Recreation Center. The teens will begin by working on the #refuse campaign, and will have an exhibit at the popular Lakes Park Foundation Scarecrow Festival (vote for us when you visit the festival!)
The Youth2Youth Advocacy Group is open to kids ages 12-17. There is no cost, but you must be a member of the Recreation Center. All dress and behavior codes of Teen Night will be observed. For more information, contact (239) 931-9317.
