Miss Amanda Gourley won the Spring 2015 State Forest Photo Contest as the overall winner

It was the first time Amanda had visited Okaloacoochee Slough State Forest. She went with her dad to view wildlife and see what opportunities presented themselves worth photographing. “My grandmother is the one that had told us about the contest,” Amanda shared with us. “It is a very beautiful place to go in nature, and my family and I try to go every chance we get.”
Amanda used a Sony DSC-HX200V with a built-in Carl Zeiss telephoto lens to capture her winning photo.
