On Monday, July 20th, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team observed a large mass submerged in the Caloosahatchee River while searching for Chelsey Green who has been missing since early Friday morning from the area.
Upon further investigation a white Dodge Stratus, matching that of the missing female, was pulled from the river. Inside the vehicle were the remains of a deceased female. The human remains were turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy and proper identification.
The remains found in the White Dodge Stratus have been confirmed as Chelsey Green.
