A fire burned quickly Sunday afternoon in Wanatah Avenue South and spread down the block threatening homes.
Lehigh Acres Fire Department and The Florida Department of Forestry Fire Crews contained brush fire a short time later.
No homes were damaged and the actual fire was kept to ¾ of an acre.
