Lehigh Acres Middle School is on the move. From the new look outside to the new look inside it’s easy for one to tell the emphasis is on academics.Under first year Principal, Neketa Watson, the Cambridge Academic Program was expanded to include 7th graders, the school’s Avid Program has seen an increase in participants by students, the recent Honor Roll Assembly showed an increase in the number of students earning a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher.
Assistant Principal for Curriculum, Dr. Chevonese Anderson-Thomas coordinates the Cambridge Program, Debra Prashad, Patty Golden and Rich Harmon continue to expand the Avid Program while Assistant Principals Joe Restino and Lisa Slivoski handle student services.
Lams also saw Dr. Patrick Davis move from the Classroom to the position of Head School Counselor and the hiring of a new school counselor, Mr. Francisco Torres.
LAMS is clearly a school on the move.
