4-H FunDay admission of $5 per person allows the public access to 25+ outdoor family activities, 20 indoor gardening classes, door prizes, vendors and more. This non-electric event is being held from 10am-3pm Saturday the 24th at Veterans Park located at 55 Homestead Road South in Lehigh Acres. 4-H youth will be running activities including: fishing lessons, 2 petting zoos, Nerf shoot out, feed the pigs game, sack race, TNT balloon activity, steer roping activity, ring toss, dart throw, football throw, horseless run, toilet paper throw, be-fit BINGO game, goat petting zoo, baseball toss/cans, hula hoop competition, bowling, musical chairs, float a boat, egg/spoon races, groom a pony, wheel of fitness, cow pie toss, horseless barrel races, costume race, and a horseless obstacle course.
Lee County 4-H youth, with the help of Lee County Master Gardeners and Lee Parks and Recreation, are hosting this event to raise funds for their club’s activities. Major sponsors include Lipman Produce, Suncoast Credit Union, and Ft Myers Lee County Garden Council.
