Chief Judge Jay B. Rosman of the Circuit County of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit has appointed Darrell R. Hill. Hill will serve the court as a General Magistrate and a Child Support Hearing Officer in Hendry and Glades Counties.
Hill said, “I’m very happy and honored at the same time to be chosen to do this job.”
Hill will continue to serve the community of Lehigh Acres as an attorney during: civil, criminal, probate, real estate and business law.
As General Magistrate in Hendry and Glades County, Hill will be handling cases dealing with Family, Baker Acts, Marchman Acts, Guardianship and Child Support Enforcement law.
Kenneth Thompson a local attorney in Lehigh Acres said, “It’s real nice to have a real person from a small legal office that understands the people and how attorney’s work.” Thompson went to say, “This is the first that he knew of any attorney in Lehigh Acres receiving this appointment.”
Hill was admitted to the Florida bar 1991, served as an Assistant State Attorney through 1994. Then joined a Lehigh Acres Law firm and has been owner of Darrell R Hill P.A. since 1997 serving Lehigh Acres for over 20 years.
Hill is a true Lehigh Acres sensation; he attended Lehigh Elementary, Alva Middle and graduated in 1982 from Riverdale High School. Hill even worked as a busboy at the Golden Grill Restaurant at the Lehigh Resort, Lehigh Acres Publix and the Mirror Lakes Pool as a life guard and manager.
