Harns Marsh Elementary – Harns Marsh Elementary’s Veterans Day Ceremony will be held on Friday, November 8, at 9:30 a.m. Harns Marsh Elementary is located at 1800 Unice Avenue N., Lehigh Acres.
Lehigh Senior High – Lehigh Senior High School will host their Veterans Day program on Wednesday, November 13, at 8:00 a.m. The school’s JROTC students will participate in a parade, veteran faculty members will be recognized and musical entertainment will be provided by students. The event will be held at the front of the school. Lehigh Senior High School is located at 901 Gunnery Road, Lehigh Acres.
Riverdale High – The Riverdale High School JROTC program will host a Veterans Day Flag-Raising Ceremony on Friday, November 8, at 9:20 a.m. The program, led by JROTC Cadets, will recognize veterans from the Riverdale High School family and local community. Thirty-three veterans attended last year’s ceremony. Admiral Jerry Johnson and Major General James Dozier are scheduled to be present for this year’s event. Riverdale High School is located at 2600 Buckingham Road, Fort Myers.
Sunshine Elementary – Sunshine Elementary will host Veterans Day Choir Concerts for students on Thursday, November 7, and Friday, November 8. The concerts will take place at the school and parents are invited to attend. Sunshine Elementary is located at 601 Sara Ave., Lehigh Acres. .
