A Lehigh Acres man was injured in a crash this morning on US 27 in Hendry County.
Anthony Alan Byers, was eastbound on the highway when an approaching driver lost control of his car on the wet road, resulting in a collision.
Byers suffered minor injuries and was taken to Hendry Regional Medical Center. The at-fault driver, Jendry Molinda Gorgolle, of Miami, was cited for driving too fast on the wet roadway. His passenger, Beatriz Martinez, 27, also of Miami, had minor injuries.
The crash occurred at 9:04 a.m. near the Airglades Boulevard intersection.
