Grow A Gardener (GAG) is an 8-session, weekly workshop on edible gardening for ages 8 and up (youth and adults are welcome). Sessions include soil, seeds, water, worm composting, plant parts, propagation, insects, and fruit/veggie ID. All instructors are volunteer Lee County Master Gardeners.
Workshops will be held June 3rd – July 29th (except July 8th) from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Veterans Park Recreation Center, 55 Homestead Road South, Lehigh Acres. A materials fee of $20 per person is payable to the instructor (fee is prorated if joining late). Veterans Park membership is required.
