The Southwest Community Foundation has been supporting the communities of Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Glades, and Hendry counties through endowed funds since 1976. We connect the philanthropic goals of generous Southwest Floridians with needs in the community through grants made to other local nonprofit organizations. We also provide community leadership by helping to identify community needs, facilitating partnerships and collaboration, and providing information and tools for donors, nonprofits, professionals, and the public. With assets of over $66 million, the Southwest Florida Community Foundation has provided more than $54 million in grants and scholarships to the communities it serves.
The mission of the Southwest Florida Community Foundation is to connect donors and their philanthropic aspirations with evolving community needs.
