Proudly present a FREE S.T.E.M. Family Workshop on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the Café.
Students will experience 9 different activity stations involving Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics!! (We have attached the STEM Volunteer guide that lists and explains all the exciting activities.)
FREE Dinner will be served to all registered students and their family from 5:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Workshop begins at 6:00 p.m.
Thanks to a grant provided by the Southwest Florida Community Foundation, the Imaginarium Science Center is able to offer a FREE S.T.E.M. Family Night to 18 deserving schools. In addition to 2 hours of non-stop S.T.E.M. activities, this grant provides for a complimentary dinner for students and families before the start of the Family Night activities. The Imaginarium Science Center has designed a unique program, S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Family Nights: R.O.O.T.S. to nurture the students that need it most and help them tap into their roots by engaging them with their families in S.T.E.M. explorations to help them grow and bloom to reach their full potential, able to meet the requirements of the 21st Century jobs.
