In order to combat Summer Blood Shortages in our community, Law Enforcement & Firefighters have joined forces to encourage the public to donate blood. We estimate that 6,500 units of blood will be consumed in our community this summer alone! All blood collected benefits the patients of the Lee Memorial Health System. No blood is ever exported out of our area.
Those who donate will receive a Special Editions Guns n’ Hoses T-shirt and a coupon for free Rita’s Ice, snacks and juice
