Lehigh Acres fire crews worked quickly to save one home from a half-acre brush fire. The Gazette learned lighting struck a vacant lot on the 1200 block of Highland Avenue around 5 p.m. sparking the blaze. One home was threatened. The fire is 100 percent contained.
