Did you know that Governor DeSantis mission to prevent an invasion from Haiti has failed?
This past Saturday, a 30-foot sailboat containing Illegal Immigrants from Haiti crashed upon the shore of Hollywood Beach here in Florida.
Thus far, there has been no comment from Governor Ron DeSantis’ office how with all his vociferous boasting regarding how he would protect Floridan’s from Illegal Immigrants from Haiti, this boat full of Illegal Aliens actually landed on our state’s shores, especially so far North in our state.
Approximately 7:40 a.m., Hollywood Police responded to the beach. There they found a 30 ft sailboat carrying multiple people and who fled the area once they landed abruptly on the beach.
Both, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Hollywood police officers joined with U.S Customs and Border Patrol to locate the Illegal Immigrants but failed to find them.
In addition, and according to U.S Customs and Border Patrol spokesman Adam Hoffner, they are investigating the “suspected maritime smuggling event”, but had made no arrests as of last Saturday afternoon.
