Did you know an Amazon driver stole a French bulldog from a home?
An employee from Amazon is now facing charges of grand theft after Hillsborough County deputies stated that he stole a French bulldog from a home in Spring Hill.
In December, 2023, a French bulldog named Kali was reported stolen from a home on Copper Hill Drive. The owner of the dog informed Hernando County deputies that she let Kali outside the morning before and the dog went missing from her fenced in backyard.
A neighbor informed the owner of Kali that the dog walked up to a man driving an older Chevrolet Cruze. She also stated that the same man was wearing an Amazon uniform.
On January 16th, Hillsborough County deputies identified the suspect as 34-year-old Reinier Revilla of Tampa. He admitted that stole the dog and was still in his possession.
Because the worth of Kali is $4000., Revilla was charged with grand theft.
