Did you know that a thrift store owner in Lee County was selling a real human skull in its’ Halloween section?
A shopper at the store who happened to also be also an anthropologist, recognized that the human skull was real. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office was contacted and picked up the skull for more examination.
The LCSO deputies said that the store owner informed them that the skull was found inside a storage unit that was purchased years ago and had been left there.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office will also provide further investigation as the skull’s origination and any possible DNA link to any crime committed.
