An electrical fire caused by a ceiling fan destroyed a home in Lehigh Acres Tuesday morning.
Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue arrived at 14th Street to a house covered in smoke and fire.
The smoke was coming from the front portion of the home. According to authorities, the fire started in the front bedroom due to an electrical issue with the ceiling fan.
The five adults in the home were able to escape with no injuries.
The home is a total loss due to smoke and water damage.
