Did you know that the Food and Drug Administration has announced a recall on packages of frozen strawberries and also, frozen organic tropical blend due to an outbreak of Hepatitis A?
The Scenic Fruit Company which headquarters in Oregon, issued a recall for the frozen organic strawberries sold at Aldi, Vital Choice, Costco, Vital Choice Seafood and PCC Community Markets. Frozen Organic Tropical Blend sold at Trader Joe’s was also recalled.
According to the FloridaHealth.gov website, Hepatis A symptoms include:
Abdominal pain
Diarrhea
Vomiting
Nausea
Loss of appetite
Dark Urine
Fever
Feeling tired
Yellow skin/eye/jaundice
The FDA recommends that if you have purchased any of these frozen items before the recall, you should stop consuming the products and return those food items to their local store for a refund.
