On two separate occasions, shoplifters walked out of a Lehigh Acres liquor store with the same exact kind of alcohol.

The owner of Homestead Liquors and Wines believes the two crimes are connected. In both cases, the crooks appeared to look like customers, browsing and even asking questions. After finding their prize, they made it look easy as they walked right out the door.

“She’s going to stand behind that lady and see when she gets a chance to just run out,” said Rony Patel, owner of the store, as he watched security camera footage from Friday afternoon.
The woman was caught red-handed on security cameras with her arms full of liquor she didn’t pay for.
She walked into the store off Homestead Road in Lehigh Acres with a purse the size of a duffle bag.
“She’s asking the employee what is the pricing, what is the difference,” Patel said.
Her attention was devoted to one bottle: Remi Martin 1738.
