Today a bus from Varsity Lakes was rerouted after a fight had taken place. One of the students that had exited the bus followed the bus with his parent and the bus driver had to call the sheriff to protect the children as the parent wanted her son to finish the fight. The bus was driven to Oak Hammock Middle School where it was met by sheriff’s deputies and Principal LeMaster who also raced over.
There is something very wrong with what is happening in our society. I applaud this bus driver for not allowing the children to get off the bus and calling the sheriff’s department to protect the students on their bus. That bus driver needs to be acknowledged.
