Multiple crews are responding to a brush fire in the area of 1185 West Cowboy Way, near the intersection of West State Road 80 in Hendry County.
LaBelle Fire Department, along with Pioneer, Montura, Felda, and Clewiston Fire Departments as well as the Division of Forestry responded.
The Florida Department of Transportation has been notified and is currently on the way to place signage along State Road 80 and State Road 29 to warn drivers of possible heavy smoke in this area.
Please note that the brush fire may produce heavy smoke in the area of West Cowboy – SR 80 and South SR 29.
At this time, there are no reported evacuations, according to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office.
