The League of Women Voters of Lee County and the League of Women Voters of Sanibel encourage all voters to vote NO on the Lee County Referendum on School Superintendent Election on Nov. 8th.

The person in charge of our schools should be the most highly qualified educator our county can hire. He or she must have extensive experience in order to manage the 13,000 employees on a budget of 2 billion dollars.
Our 100,000 students deserve more than someone who may or may not have any experience in the fields of education or management. Vote NO so that we continue to have the ability to hire the best superintendent for the Lee County School System.
