Eric Engelhart’s stand:

You may not agree with me about my view on abortion or it may not be your personal choice. That’s ok.

We can agree to disagree and that is the American way. But, we should not judge until we’ve walked a mile in their shoes.

Women should have a right to choose their health care needs, the government should not be involved in women’s health and general healthcare decisions. This is like saying the government should be involved in stroke care, men’s health, heart attacks, or any other wellness program. These are personal health decisions that should be protected by healthcare rights backed by HIPPA and privacy.

For the general safety and well-being of 50% of the population, women should have the right to choose safe and affordable healthcare including but not limited to abortions. Not allowing abortions can put women’s health at risk. Setting us behind more than 50 years in equality.

Abortion is a personal decision between the pregnant individual and their healthcare provider. Not the government, legislators, senators, or the general public.

Beyond abortion, Eric has several other big goals — boost teacher pay across the board, repeal new laws regulating race and LGBTQ+ education, drive down costs for housing and property insurance “Insurance Equalization Bill”, Improve the Quality of Life for my district and the State of Florida, provide needed funds for Public Safety, and Stop Waste.

Please vote for Eric Engelhart on Nov 8th your candidate for Florida House District 77

This country is based on democracy. And democracy means people have the right to free choice. This does not matter which side of an aisle you sit on. Free choices free choice.
