A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday morning in Lehigh Acres.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash occurred northbound on Sunshine Blvd and 47th St W.
A vehicle hit the bicyclist before fleeing the scene.
The sedan may be a 2002-2006 silver Nissan Altima with damage to its front end on the right side, FHP said.
A 40-year-old man Ronald Quilliam was biking south on Sunshine Boulevard, along the west end of the road.
No further details are known at this time. This is an active investigation.
