Some of the roads that have made this year’s round of roads to be resurfaced and striped include Lee Blvd, Gunnery Rd N, and Joel Blvd.
“This won’t just be the major roads, several roads that people drive through to get home are also on this list,” said Greenwell.

Construction is set to start in November of this year.
Residents can request a road to be paved by sending in a request for action (RFA) by going to https://www.leegov.com/dot/requestforaction.
After a request for action is submitted, Lee County DOT will inspect the road, give it a rating and place it on the Lehigh Acres paving waiting list. Roads are prioritized for paving with other Lehigh road requests.
