Did you know?

Did you know that Florida senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott are putting forth a bill in the U.S Senate to grant Billions more in federal tax funds to states and lawyers?

Rubio and Scott along with other Senate Republicans are pushing forward a new bill that would create a windfall of cash to states and lawyers for ordering child support being given to expectant mothers, beginning their first month of pregnancy.

The bill being proposed is called the Unborn Child Support Act. Rubio, along with another U.S senator recently announced the introduction of the bill, stating that it was aimed at giving mothers the ability to receive financial support from the fathers of their children while pregnant.

For years however, every state has been awarded between $3-$5 for every dollar owed in child support. The new bill being proposed by Rubio and Scott would increase the amount given to states and especially lawyers and judges within the $100 billion per year Family Law Industry. The Federal tax monies paid out to lawyers and states come from the Social Security Fund that every American pays into when employed.

Although the proposed bill is sponsored by Florida Senators, Rubio and Scott, a similar bill that was proposed in the Florida legislature was soundly defeated.
