Structure fire in a Lehigh Acres home caused multiple homes to be evacuated as crews worked to extinguish the flames.

According to the Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District, the fire sparked at 159 Partridge St. Occupants reported that everyone exited the home safely, according to Lehigh Acres Fire Rescue.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) also assisted with evacuations of the neighboring homes.
The fire was extinguished by Lehigh Acres fire crews. However, the home was destroyed, according to officials.
Lehigh Acres Fire Rescue has not released any details on what started the fire or the extent of the damage.
