A semi-truck was dangling from an I-75 overpass in Lee County near Alico Road after a fiery crash Friday morning.
“The truck driver lost control of his semi-truck, struck the concrete barrier wall, and all of its contents went over the wall onto Alico Road,” said Florida Highway Patrol, Lieutenant Greg Bueno.
The semi-truck and trailer have been lowered off of northbound I-75 onto Alico Road, according to FHP.
The left and center lanes of NB I-75 are back open, however, the left lane and westbound lanes of Alico Road under the overpass continue to remain closed for cleanup.
