Over three-quarters of a million-dollar bond set for Lehigh Acres murder suspect

A man accused of shooting and killing a woman in Lehigh Acres had his first appearance in court on Saturday.

Justin Copland, 22, appeared before a judge who set his bond at $765,000 for charges of homicide and destroying evidence.

Copland is accused of shooting a woman in Lehigh Acres. She was found dead outside her home in the 1100 block of Truman Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. on Thursday.

Law enforcement has not released the identity of the woman who was killed.
