Did you know that a cheer coach was recently arrested for accusations of molesting children?
Officers arrested Vigiland D’Haiti, age 39 at his home in Winter Garden last Sunday. He had a warrant out of Lake County.
According to police, D’Haiti is facing several charges of lewd and lascivious molestation of victims ages 12 to 15 years-old. He is the owner and operator of Rush All Stars in Clermont.
D’Haiti has coached at several other gyms, including at high schools in the Central Florida area. Most recently coaching at East Ridge High School from 2016-2019. In the past, he was employed with Orange County Public Schools, Cypress Creek High School and Dr. Phillips High School.
Clermont police urge any other individuals with information about D’Haiti, or additional victims located anywhere throughout Florida, to come forward.
