Here we go again! Did you know another Florida teacher has been arrested for inappropriate behavior with a student?
Volusia County Sheriff’s Office reported that Carlos Aguirre Rendon is charged with lewd or lascivious conduct and witness tampering in an investigation of his conduct with a 15-year-old student.
Aquirre Rendon, is employed at the Deltona Middle School as a math teacher.
According to interviews with reports from the Sheriff’s Office who stated that witnesses informed them “Aguirre often sought to be alone with the victim and appeared to be pursuing a relationship with her outside of normal teacher-student contact.” The day before Aguirre’s arrest, deputies learned that he had approached possible witnesses at a park, asking about the student and telling at least one individual, “not to talk to the police.”
Aguirre was booked at the Volusia County Jail under the name, Carols A. Rendon, posted $12,500 bond and was released.
