So I observed this ambulance coming into my neighborhood and it was coming from Lehigh
NOW THE NEAREST STATION TO THIS INCIDENT IS STATION 5 LT FRANKLIN WAS IN CHARGE?
Now the incident was on 39th Street W and Flora 5 blocks from station 6 our unfinished firehouse that has 1 ambulance, one pumper truck, and 1 brush truck parked in front of a trailer?
SO I ASKED THE DEPUTY WHY LEHIGH AMBULANCE CAME FROM LEHIGH HOMESTEAD?
PER CONVERSATION LT FRANKLIN AND DEPUTY THEY DID NO HAVE ANY AND THIS ZERO AMBULANCES TO RESPOND TO THIS INCIDENT?
SO AT 1 PM SUNDAY OCTOBER 31, 2021 LEHIGH ACRES WAS LEFT WITH ZERO AMBULANCES TO COVER LEHIGH ACRES?
DEPUTY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE TO CALL LEE COUNTY IN TO COVER?
SO I ASKED LT FRANKLIN OF STATION 106 TOLD ME HE COULD NOT TALK ABOUT THIS WHEN I ASKED AT THE CONSTRUCTION SITE OF STATION 106?
SO I ASKED THE DEPUTY IF THIS PUBLIC SAFETY CONCERN AND HE SAID YES THIS IS A VERY, VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM THAT OCCURS EVERY DAY?
SO I AM ASKING THE LEHIGH ACRES FIRE COMMISSION TO ANSWER TO VOTERS WHY WE HAVE SUCH A SHORTAGE OF AMBULANCES?
HAVING ZERO AMBULANCES FOR 135 THOUSAND CITIZENS IN LEHIGH AND THE TAXPAYERS HAVING ZERO AMBULANCES TO ME IS A VERY SERIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY CONCERN?
AS OF 5 PM WEDNESDAY 11/3 NO RESPONSE FOR LEHIGH ACRES FIRE DEPARTMENT, WHY?
Your safety has been comprised, taxpayer should demand full transparency of this department before someone dies.
