Did you know that the rate of infections via the COVID-19 Virus continues to fall here in Florida?

In the month of August, 2021, Florida was averaging approximately 25,000 new cases per day, or about 116 for every 100,000 state residents. That was the worst rate within the United States. However, Florida is now in November having gone ten straight weeks with a decline in new coronavirus infections with a figure only at 3% according to the newest state report.

Our state reported 12,880 new COVID-19 cases from October 22-28 which is a 92% decrease from the height of the surge experienced here during August. That according to the latest data via the Florida Department of Health.

Comparing Florida to California, which has very restrictive rules pertaining to mandatory masks and coronavirus vaccines, Florida COVID-19 related deaths were down. CDC data also showed a seven-day average of one death on November 9. That figure was up to 61 in California.
