‘Tis the season! Christ United Methodist Church has a calendar packed full of fun family-friendly events for you to enjoy through the joyful holiday season.
The church kicked things off with Drive-Thru Spaghetti Dinner and its monthly Family Fun Friday with a Thanksgiving theme.
The church now will begin Advent Season with a storytelling of Matt Rawle’s book “The Heart That Grew Three Sizes – Finding Faith in the Story of the Grinch” Sermons, small group studies, children’s ministry and youth programs will be based on this book.
For those who love arts and crafts, the 10th Annual Craft Fair will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The Craft Fair will feature hand-knitted crochet items, adult bibs, ornaments, jewelry, and more great items handmade by members of the church and local artists. The public is invited to come for free, browse the crafts, and grab food from the concessions. Come early if you want to grab some baked goods by the United Methodist Women… They sell out quickly!
Also in December is their annual One Starry Night Bethlehem experience to be held Dec. 10 and Dec. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. each day. Experience the original Christmas story as you walk through the town of Bethlehem. This year’s One Starry Night Bethlehem experience will offer a scavenger hunt and a challenge from the The Wise Men to keep a secret from King Herod. Returning this year with their adorable animals is Mini Moo Petting Zoo! Snacks will be provided at the Inn, however vacancies are not available. Admission is free but donations are always welcomed.
The holiday celebrations don’t stop there. Bring the family for The December Family Fun Friday on Dec. 17 for a movie night as we watch “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” 8:30 p.m.
They will conclude Advent Season on Dec. 24 with a Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 7 p.m.
Can’t get enough Christmas Carols? Join the church on Sunday, Dec. 26 for a Carol Sing during the traditional English service held at 10:30 a.m. A Spanish Service also is available each Sunday at 8:30 a.m.

Traditional Service is held Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and Spanish Service (Servicio en Espanol) is held Sundays at 1 p.m.
