Weather Sept 9

Written by Omar González

The National Hurricane Center is investigating an upper-level disturbance tracking into the northeastern Gulf of Mexico. Heavy downpours are likely for North Florida as this disturbance tracks through the Nature Coast. Elsewhere in the Atlantic, Hurricane Larry remains no threat to land.

Highs today should reach the low 90’s. An increase in coverage of precipitation is expected inland as the wind flow shifts southwesterly this afternoon.
