On Aug. 19, an inspector recommended an emergency order of closure for Los Taquitos Mexican Food food truck, 3305 Lee Blvd., Lehigh Acres. The inspector cited the truck for 13 violations. Five were high priority violations, including non-food-grade takeout bags used to store tamales; raw pork and beef stored over salsa and cilantro in a reach-in cooler; rice and meats held at improper temperatures; and, per the inspector’s notes, “Approximately 20 live flies in the mobile unit. Flies observed landing on cutting boards and single-service containers.”
